Hello Guys!


Today I have to talk about vices and guilty pleasures.

My vice is videogames, since I was a child I like videogames, but I didn't play for a long time.

Since quarantine started I'm spending more time on the internet, sometimes I felt a little bit depressed because the lockdown. I used to do so many activities, for example: running in the park, visiting my friends, going to classes and work. I kept myself very busy.


One day a friend from University invited me to play online, we started to play facebook games, like UNO. Then we started to play other games on a platform called Steam. We played many different games everyday, until it occurred us to play Minecraft.

I downloaded an application called Discord, so you can talk while you're playing and then the virtual journey begins.

We play minecraft 4 to 6 people every day and night, all students from the faculty.

We built a community, I made my own house, I have an unicorn and I became a sorceress.

we play every day, every night for 3 or 4 hours.

Blog 3 / My favorite piece of technology

 Hello!!

 I have never had much attachment to technology, but among all the technological devices that I have had in my life, the only thing that  I like the most. I had a laptop at age of 11, which was given away by the government in seventh or sixth grade, I do not remember, I used that laptop a lot, for everything ... homework, social networks, reading or video games.

 In the school secondary when i am 14 years old my laptop died.

 In 2018 I bought a new laptop for university purposes, but I use it for many things, example reading a lot and playing video games. At night is when I use it the most.

I could live without the laptop! I love using it, but I only use it for educational or entertainment purposes.

Maybe for studies it would be difficult not to have my laptop,  for online class.

Blog 1 My autobiography

Hello!
My name is Catalina Cerda, I am from Santiago, Chile.
I was born in "independence" on September 23, 1998. My mother and father are chilean. My mother's name is Ana Valderrama and my father is Marco Cerda.
I have always lived in Huechuraba and in primary school I studied at a school called Ernesto Yañez Rivera. In my adolescence, I moved to another school called Abdon Cifuentes.
I am currently studying dance at the "Universidad de Chile" and I am in second grade.
I work independently selling clothes online and I have done little Idance work, in productions, festivals and teaching.
I like to dance, read, listen to music, play video games and chat with friends.

I hope everyone is well.

When I was 10 years old I wanted to study archeology, because I was always struck by universal history , I was very curious about civilizations and antiquities. In 2011 in my primary school a dance workshop was opened. An external teacher came to see us and gave us a scholarship along with other classmates. There I realized that I liked it a lot and I started helping to my classmates and taught other children at school. I liked to much to teach, so I decided that I wanted to study dance pedagogy.

In 2016 I finished school and I auditioned to enter the dance school of the "Universidad de Chile", for  2017. I was not selected, I was only on the waiting list. I had to prepare myself physically and mentally again for 1 year to enter the next year.

Now I am in the university and y I am very happy with the choice.
